…considering that I clearly don't know anything about technology, that I'm an illustrator-wannabe, that I won't probably ever use any animation program whatsoever and that I usually think about Macintosh stuff as a way to show off… then noticing that every illustrator I can think of actually owns a Mac. Also, I'm not a gamer.
My poor Jeff (my pc) is old and tired. I love him with all my heart, I don't really want to get rid of him, but I guess he is going to leave me anyway… sooner more than later, since he's often sending me clear clues.
So tell me. My best friend is trying to convince me to buy a Macbook Pro Retina. Good lord, this stuff is expensive. But he keeps telling me that RETINA IS THE FUTURE, every pc will have that technology in five years, if you have to make an investment you should make a proper one, ecc.
BUT. Is there really so much difference among a Macbook Pro and a Retina one? Retina seems like the boss of the Bestest Screens, and that's awesome, but it has just ONE usb port and no CD/DVD reader.
SUGGESTIONS. I NEED 'EM. SO BADLY.
